Filing Services – Form 5500

Getting an early start and managing the data/information collection is the key to success in the ERISA welfare plan reporting and disclosure process. The problem is that most people do not know or have the time to properly manage this process.  It begins late and turns into a last-minute rush to completion.  This rush can lead to inaccurate filings, missed filings, unhappy bosses, and non-productive use of key employees' time trying to resolve issues. Many CPA firms, attorneys, and other professionals will only complete the Form at your direction.  In other words, the burden is on you to manage the entire process while they just fill in the blanks.
At most firms, this work is completed by entry-level employees who know very little about the employee benefit industry and do not understand the Form or process.  Their ability to provide advice, answer questions, handle complex situations, or help you in the filing process is often very limited.
